Wrote for a safety organization. Library and Web research ofsafety issues, then wrote safety articles and children's activity books. Proofread/Edit fellow writers. Created the company photo album. Scanned and retouched over 100 photos, then placed them in a database. Also was the computer trainer for company.
As a Marketing Coordinator wrote newsletters and compnay correspondence. Copywriting. Designed ads, flyers, brochures, and catalogs. Also coordinated company events, purchased office supplies, and maintained inventory.
As an Americorp VISTA, I worked within the adult literacy program. I was the Volunteer Managaer, Event Coordinator, Student Support, Workshop Facilitator, Phonics Tutor, Newsletter Editor and Computer Teacher.
Taught poetry, creative writing and technical writing to inmates a the local prison. One student's improved writing (did not know anything about transitions...) was published in Rolling Stones.
