I have been a spiritual seeker all my life and was first introduced to Buddhism through Herman Hesse's book "Siddhartha". I became a practicing Buddhist in 1972 and have practiced and studied the teachings of all of the various Buddhist schools. I founded the Frederick Buddhist Center in 1997 as an ecumenical teaching center where Buddhists of all schools can teach and learn from one another.
