My Expert Service

Starting my first business at the age of 18 in Guatemala, C.A. I have owned, operated and then sold 10 companies since then. I still own and operate one of them, the first company I started, Microtronix ESolutions. A large technology based company with clients in 7 countries of the world and branches in 2 of them. I have owned different market based companies from Technology to import/export of coffee from Guatemala to 2 countries of the world. We exported to the US (Krogers and Andersons) and to Jordan. I have worked with large corporations and small businesses alike. With my second company, a technology based company, we opened a new market in Guatemala that is now flourishing today. Having not been in Guatemala we brought to the country Plasma screens through Panasonic Panama, when they were just new in the states and also opened a new market for IBM, their Kiosk systems here in Guatemala and dealt directly with corporate GBM here in Guatemala and IBM and 3M in the states. After this we branched into the web market and opened the door for other web companies in the country, because of this there has now been 4 large companies branch out from what we did all those years back.

Experience & Qualifications

I am a self-built entrepreneur with over 10 years working in the corporate world in international markets and local US markets with many different facets. I currently own and manage my first started company Microtronix ESolutions. Over the years working in all these different markets has given me the chance to broaden my sights and horizons in the business and marketing aspects. I have worked directly many times with large US corporations like Campbells, Wal-Mart, Ball and other’s a like, and have personal contacts with Wal-Mart corporation in the International Division and a few others. I have a lot of experience marketing new products and opening markets in countries that never before existed. Having opened the technology for plasmas and web markets in Guatemala, C.A., this gave me a lot of experience in emerging countries working with a market that did not exist nor anyone thought it could. Since I sold out, two companies started from the web section of mine, and they are the two largest in the country, only surpassed by my own Microtronix. I have opened and sold 10 companies in my career in 4 countries of the world. I broke into the coffee market in the US with GuatXport 6 years ago and since sold it. My goal was to break the Starbucks stronghold on the country and bring the quality of it to the home without the cost. Since I bought my coffee from the same company that Starbucks did this gave me a quality edge that I did not mild down like they do with theirs. So I have quite a bit of experience fighting the big dogs of the game, and winning. I have since stopped for lack of time, but two years ago I taught first year college level Economics and Business Administration at a local institution here in Guatemala.
