I started at 14 packing fruits and vegetables. At 18 I was managing a camera and record department in a discount store, by 20 I was the assistant manager of a 100,000 sq ft store. At 22 my brother and I opened our own furniture store which we ran for about 15 years. At the same time I started helping my fater with some of his businesses. I then bought a riverboat bussiness which I still own. In the mean time I came back to Duluth and created Duluth's best boutique hotel. Since then I was president of a 30 hotel owner and management company
