Dr Jörg Täubel is a medical practitioner and Managing Director of Richmond Pharmacology which he co-founded in 2001. He has worked in pharmacology for nearly 20 years and during that time he has conducted more than 400 early phase studies in patient, pediatric and healthy volunteers. His experience ranges from First Time In Man to Proof Of Concept studies. His particular interest is in cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology and bridging and Thorough QT studies.
He is a member of the Japanese Society of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, the (British) Association for Human Pharmacology in the Pharmaceutical Industry (AHPPI), the Deutsche Gesellschaft Für Pharmazeutische Medizin Ev. (DGPharMed), the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Für angewandte Humanpharmakologie (AGAH), the Royal Society of Medicine, the British Association for Pharmaceutical Physicians, the Institute of Directors (IOD), London. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom.

1999 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine awarded by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom
1989 MD (postgraduate), awarded by the University of Frankfurt, Germany. Title of Thesis: “Follow-up on 128 female and male patients one to two years after transluminal coronary angioplasty.”
1987 State Examination Medicine (equivalent to the MB BS in the UK) and full registration as a Medical Practitioner (Approbation) awarded by the Hessisches Landesprüfungsamt für Heilberufe, Germany.
