Are you trying to lose weight but are plagued with obsessive thoughts about food? Do you binge and purge? Getting and staying in shape can be quite difficult, both physically and psychologically. You may have an eating disorder, or you may have developed unhealthy habits with food such as binging and purging through exercise. It doesn't have to be like that. Being fit does not have to be an emotional roller coaster. I aim to help you develop better beliefs and feelings about your body, your fitness, and your eating habits, while helping you to pursue your fitness goals from a healthy, non-self-downing perspective. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. My work experience was gained while working in outpatient mental health clinics and non-profit agencies, while I currently specialize in treatment of the following areas:
