My philosophy is that every person wants to improve his or her situation and move from pain to pleasure. They may need assistance to discover the best way to reach that goal given their individual personality, talent, and education. I offer the opportunity to explore possibilities not yet revealed and support them as they develop behaviors that facilitate optimal growth and achievement of their goals.

Experience & Qualifications

Working with families, children, adolescents, adults and couples over the past 25 years in private practice providing support for behavioral changes that have led to positive attitude change, real growth and contentment. I have written curriculum and taught classes for both parents and adolescents as they travel the adolescent journey to adulthood. Over the past 7 years, I have been the parenting instructor to the Motion Picture and Television Industries Wellness Program – preparing and presenting lectures monthly on a variety of topics dealing with parenting, marriage, and child development. I currently work with blended families, divorce/custody, and re-unification between parents and children. I am a member of CAMFT and President of VBS Counseling Center, a non-profit counseling center.
