I am a Licensed Psychotherapist in Private Practice. I am available for in office, chat, email and phone sessions. My approach to therapy is primarily a cognitive one (It is all in the way we think). Every patient is viewed as a unique individual. I will help you to directly identify and address the immediate issue and if necessary develop a solution focused plan. My practice is a general practice addressing a variety of issues and disorders including depressed mood, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, and grief. I am quite directive and take an active role in each patient's therapeutic session.

Experience & Qualifications

I have been in Private Practice since 1993. In addition to this I have worked as the Adolescent Clinical Coordinator and Director of Therapy in a Psychiatric hospital, Family Counselor for the emotionally challenged students with the School Board of Broward County, and in a crisis center working with parenting and pregnant teenagers. With the adult population I have worked with issues concerning everyday life, most emotional and psychological issues, and psychiatric disorders such as Schizophrenia and bipolar. Couple/ Marital counseling is an area of focus. I have many years experience with crisis intervention and Critical Debriefing. I have worked very closely with the Gay and Lesbian population.
