• Was an integral part of the team that developed and leased over 700,000 square feet of new, speculative, dock high space in the Tampa market.
• Was an integral part of the team that developed and leased over 600,000 square feet of speculative, class A office space in the Tampa market.
• Consistently one of the top performers for leasing nation wide.
• Positioned our product in the market to successfully lease it in spite of never having a market presence in Tampa.
• Managed to convince a national tenant of Pro-Logis who was about to sign a lease with them to consider our building with no previous relationship. The buildings were generally similar until I figured out a way to deliver more over head doors on the side of my buildings for the user, yielding an additional four overhead doors. This won the deal and I leased my first spec industrial space with a national credit tenant for 40,000 square feet.
• Landed the first full building “cross dock” speculative tenant in the Tampa market for over 450,000 square feet. Brutal negotiations were conducted with an Atlanta based firm. I personally handled the lease negotiations with the user’s CEO. Subsequently handled the construction management of the tenant build-out.
• Won “Deal of the Year” for landing a 450,000 square foot build-to-suit for JP Morgan Chase at a new office development at a park that I helped design called Highland Oaks. We competed against very strongly established local developers and national developers with strong ties to the user.
•Negotiated and sold a 300 acre track of industrial land to a 600,000 square foot user. Represented the seller in the transaction. Assisted the buyer with entitlement issues, permitting and concurrency scenarios.
• Represented a 40,000 square foot industrial user for a relocation and consolidation. Crafted an electronic RFP process to maintain the tenant’s anonymity. Property search conducted, proposals evaluated, comparative matrix formulated and final negotiations are in place currently.
