I am a 'back end' web developer; the person who makes things work. I've developed many of my own scripts and modified several commercial ones. Have worked with/designed/implemented large scale databases and applications for some very large and well known companies in the technology center, including americangreetings.com, advance internet, microsoft, aol, the department of defence and the cleveland clinic foundation.

I've primarily been the 'goto' person when no one else has been able to solve a problem or integrate a script successfully. I've got years of experience with php, python, javascript, perl, mysql, oracle and sql server. I can work well in both a linux and windows environment. Some of my original applications have included a time management application for an office, a intranet application for doctors to be able to access/modify/update patient data/prescriptions/order tests/schedule appointments, a complete art gallery database, indexed by color/artist/genre/medium, updated entirely client side, and now integrated with a third party shopping application.
I've even given a presentation at Microsoft in the early years of media player on how to successfully utilize the technology for developing online testing applications.
I'm a whiz at writing stored procedures/transact sql, and database development/relationships/building queries.
I've been in the business a long time and have done a little bit of everything. But right now, I'm not working full time, choosing instead to stay home with my children and do contract work instead.
