I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida and have spent the majority of my career working with adolescents and teenagers.
I spent several years working as a therapist specializing in substance abuse. During my time in outpatient and residential treatment facilities, I learned first-hand that many times unaddressed trauma fuels substance dependence, depression, anxiety and self-sabotage.
I am currently working with children, teenagers and adults who have experienced severe trauma in their lives and what I know is that anyone can overcome anything if they are willing to do the work and stop running from the pain.
