Experience & Qualifications
I have several years of teaching experience at the middle school level. I have worked in the same middles school during the last two years, teaching 7th and 8th grade students. Before this position, I taught in another school district teaching three different middle school courses, one for each grade level (6-8). All courses had a particular content, but writing and reading skills were the focus. Also, I have taught freshman and sophomore high school English classes, focusing on Shakespeare, as well as American and British authors and poetys. During all of my experiences, I have taught in a range of different classroom settings. Some included gifted classes and others included in-class support classes, which required me to create motifications and changes to student assignments, materials and objectives based on a child's Individual Education Plan.
I graduated from Georgian Court University, a well for its teaching programs. I was a Summa Cum Laude honoree, and was inducted into Sigma Tau Delta (English Honors Society) and Kappa Delta Pi (Education Honors Society) before graduating.
