Carmen is passionate about decorating and has shared that passion with hundreds of women through her Decorating Divas workshops and seminars. Her decorating articles have been published both in print and online. In 2003, Carmen received national recognition and was awarded the coveted Gifts and Decorative Accessories 52nd Annual Retailer Excellence Award for Visual Merchandising for her innovative approach for combining the artistic discipline of design with the scientific methodology detailed in Paco Underhill’s book “Why We Buy: The Science of Shopping”.
