I truly believe that all of us need someone in our lives that we can turn to, who is non-judgment and who doesn't have the "I told you so" attitude toward us when we are hurting or have stumbled - whether it be in intimate relationships, relationships with family members, our jobs, our health. We all need a safe place to fall when things get rough. I believe that failure is success turned inside out and that it is possible to get things turned right side in and become happier in our lives. We all want to be loved and cared for. We all want to be appreciated for who we are. And we all want to be able to be ourselves around those we love. Experience & Qualifications
|

Intensive experience working with victims of sexual assault. Ten years of experience working with individuals and families in all areas of life including five years working with high risk adolescents and their families. Five years of teaching "surviving adolescence" at our local community college. Six years working with crisis/trauma teams for Red Cross - both for local and national disasters, including September 11, 2001 and Hurricane Katrina survivors.
