My Expert Service

I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist with over 7 years of experience working with both adults and children in numerous acute care facilities. Working side by side with the patient and educating them about medication effects and proper use of respiratory equipment is something I enjoy most. Due to my teaching experience in the respiratory field, I am able to provide the appropriate, concise answers you are looking for. My experiences more than qualify me to accurately answer questions about your home respiratory equipment such as oxygen, c-pap, and nebulizers for example. If you are prescribed respiratory medications that don't seem to be "working" for you, perhaps you are incorrectly using them. I can provide you with an easy explanation for proper administration, or suggestion to discuss with your physician for a different type of medication that may benefit you more. Maybe you have questions about the diagnosis your doctor gave you, or you are wondering about that funny cough your child has? I would be more than happy to help you answer those very questions. Education has always been my number one mission with all my patients. I feel helping people to truly understand their respiratory illness puts their mind at rest and, in turn, eases breathing. Along with busy emergency rooms where I had the opportunity to meet so many people with so many questions.

Experience & Qualifications

7 years in the field of respiratory therapy. 4 of those years were spent in the state of Michigan where I gained experience in a level one emergency pediatic and adult trauma center. For the last 3 years I have been employed as a traveling respiratory therapist. In this position, I have worked in Chicago, Indiana, North Carolina, and Delaware. Traveling has increased my knowledge and experience with respiratory medications, treatment methods, and equipment. I have also worked in a few of the top pediatic hospitals in the country. Part of my routine job experiences includes administering respiratory treatments using various types of medications and equipment. I am also responsible for tweaking equipment settings and sometimes troubleshoot equipment that may not be working properly. Problem solving is critical in my job and is necessary to provide my patient with the best outcome.
