Feng Shui is an ancient (5,000 years) Chinese practice that grew from the ancient form of I-Ching. Based on the principal that Chi, which is your life’s energy, must flow naturally and without obstruction or oppression, Feng Shui establishes principles for creating and maintaining peace, harmony and balance in your space and in your life.
Ancient and modern-day far-eastern practices use feng shui compasses, geometry and geomancy to determine the orientation of the ba gua (the layout and organization of your space for feng shui) of a space, and specific cures to correct or enhance Chi.
This can be complicated and at times less reliable here in the West - using the principals of BTB and 3-door ba gua developed by Master Lin Yun, I determine the orientation of your space and then, through the completion of my Personal Intent Questionnaire, we will determine together how to improve the Chi in the areas of your ba gua that require correcting or energizing.
Using cures that are outward representations of your inner-most intentions, and operating solely for your higher good, we will unlock blocked Chi and clear away negative and unwanted energies.
To get started, I need a floor plan of your space – if this is not a certified plan-to-scale, then please try to be as accurate when doing a hand drawing. Proportion of space especially in relation to room sizes, location of front and rear entrances, orientation of your space from the front door (N-S-E-W), existing furniture plan (again, hand drawn is fine), colours in each room, and any history of the space (both yours and the previous occupant(s)) that you can provide will aid in developing the most accurate reading of your space. It is also very important for me to understand where power and water enter and exit your space, where computers, televisions and microwaves are located and how often they are used, and what you see when you look outside each window.
Lastly – but most importantly, you must be committed to getting rid of the clutter! Many of my clients have found that just completing this first and very essential step is all they need to find their grounding and get their lives back in balance. And I can safely tell you that failure to remove the clutter will result in failed attempts at improving your Chi! Think of your clutter as locks on all of the windows and doors of your space – as long as they are there, there will be no movement of air! But, remove the locks and watch and feel the fresh air flow! I will also help you with this and with developing a plan to manage your clutter moving forward.
I can provide simple observations and instructions via e-mail, however, feng shui is best practiced when there is personal contact and interaction, so we will need to make an appointment for a live chat once I have received all of your information.
My fees are very reasonable – an initial consultation, which includes the completion of a Personal Intent Questionnaire is $60.00. Analysis of your space details (including your floor plan, etc.) is $120.00, or you can arrange for both for $150.00. This can all be done by email. An on-line consultation (once these first two steps are completed) is $6.50/per minute or $350.00/hour.
A simple consultation, based on a completed Personal Intent Questionnaire but without a floor plan or in-depth analysis is also available for $100.00. Please note that cures and recommendations from a simple consultation will be based solely on your intents and desired outcomes and will not take into consideration any environmental issues.
