I lived out of a back pack on Kauai from 1978 to 2001,walking and hitch hiking. I was invited to camp on local,pure blood Hawaiian people's land.I was accepted into Hawaiian culture.I was protected and supported by Hawaiians. I lived on Kauai for 22 consecutive years. I swam with wild dolphins. I was involved with GreenPeace. I worked in the Hawaiian independence movement.
I opposed the military Star Wars program at the Pacific Missile Range Base.I enforced the Marine Mammal Protection Act. I was the number 1 activist on Kauai.
