Licensed Professional Counselor. - 2012 to Present - Working as Behavioral Health Specialist for Baylor College of Medicine providing individual and group therapy for children, adolescents and their parents. - 2011 to 2012 - Worked with women diagnosed with Major Depression and Bipolar to learn/utilize cognitive behavioral therapies. 2010 to 2012 - Worked as a Youth Case Manager for Texana Center providing routine, intensive case management, skills training, medication training and supports and therapy to children age 4 through 17 diagnosed with multiple disorders that included ADHD, Bipolar, Major Depression, Adjustment Disorders, Anxiety, Oppositional Defiant, Intermitent Explosive Disorder, etc. and their families utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy techniques. - 2008 to 2009 - Worked with adolescents diagnosed with ADHD, Bipolar, Mood Disorders, Substance Abuse, and Anxiety disorders and their families during all three of her practicums at Fort Bend Juvenile Probation in the Psychological Division where she provided individual and group therapy as well psychological testing. - Deep heartfelt compassion along with a dedicated professional commitment to help those who are hurting to learn new skills that will enable them to overcome their pain and life challenges.
