I've been assisting in placing the elderly in Nursing Homes and other levels of care as a Social Worker for nearly 8 years. Before that, I worked as a Social Worker in Nursing Home settings for over 7 years. I can help educate you regarding the different levels of care available to your loved one, as well as what the facilities may be looking for; potential barriers to placement; and potential ways around those barriers. (Specific to Western New York) I can provide tips on what to look for in a facility and am also available to counsel in the adjustment process for both you and your loved one.
