My Expert Service

A formally trained therapist, I have been employed in a state of the art domestic violence shelter for over 12 years. I have guided a diverse population of individuals in their unique journey; guiding them from crisis to stability by helping them learn essential skills for both during and after a crisis. Additionally, I have constructed and facilitated long term educational, and experiential groups, specifically designed to raise awareness, to support, and promote healing for those who are working on difficult issues pertaining to childhood or adult interpersonal trauma. Intimate partner abuse can happen to anybody, it creates a ripple of issues and deeply effects many aspects of one’s life. Important decisions may need to be made to insure emotional and physical safety, Once safety is insured, things may become better understood, Many changes are possible from identifying and understanding one’s thought and belief structures, behaviors, personal boundaries, defense systems and family history. I believe that we are all born with an innate ability to learn and grow. When, for whatever reason our experiences have altered our ability to utilize these tools in managing our relationships and our lives, we need some kind of mentor to help guide us back to our strongest and wisest selves, so we may be open to whatever challenge or changes we may face.
