I have dealt with my own ADHD and Dyslexia as well as Irlen Syndrome my entire life. I was medicated when younger and was able to get off the medication in Junior High, by learning to control myself the same as the medication was able to. As soon as I was diagnosed with Dyslexia my parents enrolled me into a program to help train my eyes and brain to make reading easier. I went from barely being able to read at all to scoring post college reading comprehension levels when I was in Junior High.
