I am a Küchehexe - kitchen witch, green witch, cottage witch, whatever term you prefer. I've been practicing green witchcraft since even before I knew that's what it was. It's always been as natural to me as breathing - working with nature, the elements (earth/north and air/east in particular) and listening to what it has to say.
It was my own accuracy in translating readings that stumped even more experienced tarot users that led me to acquiring my own deck, and other tarot readers have said they liked my approach at translation. Each card can have a limited variety of meanings and I talk with my deck to narrow down which it is, and follow my instincts on building up the whole message.
I use primarily the Llewellyn tarot deck, and I do not do reversals. That doesn't rule out the possibility that they'd turn up in a reading, but if a single card reverses itself in shuffling, that's generally the deck trying to complain about something being off-kilter. I also pay special attention to cards that pop out during shuffling, as I never drop cards.
I've been translating readings for years now, with a highly-tuned gut instinct I rely on for everything, as it's never let me down.
