I've been a volunteer breastfeeding counselor for 7 years and an IBCLC (board certified lactation consultant for 2 years). I'm also a CLC (Certified Lactation counselor) I worked in a lactation consultant's for a year. I run a monthly new mother's support group and I love helping moms have the breastfeeding and parenting experience they are looking for.

My parenting philosophy is generally what is described as Attachment Parenting. With Breastfeeding, I have warm, accepting approach, and I am committed to helping you find the breastfeeding relationship that works for you. Every family is different and it's important to come up with a strategy that you are comfortable with.
There are some issues where you may need to be referred to someone who can see you in person, but I am experienced in helping with most issues over the phone or email and I am comfortable referring you to a local professional if needed.

Experience & Qualifications

I am an IBCLC (Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant, a CLC (Certified Lactation Consultant), and I've been an accredited volunteer breastfeeding counsellor for 7 years. I have extensive experience working with mothers over the phone and in person. As a mother of two, I also have personal experience with breastfeeding, and with the issues new parents face when adapting to their new lifestyle.
