My Expert Service

Being an effective Substitute Teacher begins with respecting and loving yourself. When this is present, the children will do likewise. For example, how have the children responded to you upon entering the classroom? Do they continue to behave for you all throughout the day? Can you keep their attention when teaching them their lessons? If you said, "No," to any of these questions, you will need an expert to guide you on mastering the steps needed to be an effective Substitute Teacher. Look no further, I have the expertise you have been searching for. I have worked in grades preschool through twelvth and even worked at the Tennessee School for the Blind and at an adult education facility teaaching high school dropouts how to test for the General Equivalency Diploma. There have been opportunities I had working with bodies of students for longterm periods of time. For example, I subbed for a teacher on medical leave working with eighth graders. The lesson plans left for the original eight weeks ran out, but I had to be decisive and smart enough to gather other plans and match them to what they were already doing. Report cards had to be averaged and recorded. The most challenging part of my assignment, however, was dealing with classroom management. This is where an authoritative personality comes in. Experience & Qualifications

In the summer of 1990, at fourteen years of age, I worked under a program called Job Training Partnership Act. This was one of three summers that I learned clerical skills that gave me the experience needed to compose teacher reports and organize student assignments. I took Keyboarding at the local community college in 1996 and majored in Elementary Education both at the community college and at the state's university. In 1998 I trained to become a Susbstitute Teacher and continued in the field until changing career paths in 2009. The last assignment I worked for the Board of Education I worked in the administrative offices of two schools. The latter put my training to the test, and I even was responsible for recording and documenting the school-wide attendance to the Board of Education through a Chancery system. In addition to this duty, I took students' temperatures, called parents when they were sick, sent and retrieved facsimiles to and from other schools, and worked closely alongside three administrators. My educational history is extensive, and they make me the best candidate for hire!
