For more than 23 years, I worked for companies including GE Medical Systesm, The Parker Pen Company, Simplicity Manufacturing, Inc., The Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel, Cardinal Stritch University and Girl Scouts of Milwaukee Area, Inc as well as several public relations agencies performing a wide spectrum of responsibilities. The significant roles I perfomed included employee communications, writing major communications pieces to all target audiences and developing internal and external mediums to persuade, inform and develop a positive understanding of significant products, services and developments. I produced award wining newsletters, magazines, annual reports, and direct mail pieces that received excellent kudos. I developed short and long term public relations plans that dovetailed marketing and management programs achieving significant goals. Created media relations concepts and wrote media kits to achieve spectacular results in both the trade and consumer markets. I can provide advise on developing media plans that generate buzx in the marketplace and media. My creativity and ability to adapt to understanding high tech and a broad range of products is well known. Having my own busines allowed me to provide consulting services to U.S. Cellular, Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance, Property Management companies, clothing stores and many more organizations. I am a quick learner and keep my capabilities honed well. My ability to develop advertising plans and marketing plans are strong, having been Director of Public Relations for Cardinal Stritch University, a regional educational institution. My passion for the media and positioning organizations in the best possible light have been proven. I also freelance write for magazines and local newspapers.

My experience is described in detail above. I have managed departments of up to 6 employees and took special courses to update my skills in management. I am currently attending graduate school for a Master of Business Administration degree to stay current with the marketing field.
