I work with adult women who struggle with anorexia and bulimia. As a recovered anorexic, I understand the ups and downs of the recovery process. As a Christian, I understand some of the difficult questions related to one's personal relationship with the Lord while battling an eating disorder. I work with women to help them see their true identity in Christ, help them replace the lies of the eating disorder with the truth, assist them in letting go of guilt and shame, guide them in allowing God to have a significant role in their recovery, and more.

Experience & Qualifications

I hold a Masters degree in Christian Counseling as well as a Pastoral Counselor license. I have supported women with eating disorders since 2003. Being passionate about encouraging those in eating disorder recovery, I run the site, Freedom from Eating Disorders, and I am the author of Journey to Freedom from Eating Disorders. I have also had several articles published on the topic of eating disorder recovery from a Christian perspective.
