As an attorney for 10 years I have had the privilege to conduct Tort and Intellectual Property Cases, for Puerto Rico’s state and federal district courts. I have extensive experience in research and writing legal memoranda on all areas of Puerto Rico law and Federal Law on Intellectual Property and Copyright issues. As a legal advisor for the Judicial Academy of Puerto Rico, I had the privilege to develop and conduct legal education training to all State Court judges in Puerto Rico.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Legal Advisor at the Judicial Academy of Puerto Rico from 2003-2010:
As a Legal advisor I developed and conducted continuing judicial education trainings in all areas of law and of legislation impacting judicial functions of state court judges. I was responsible for conducting research, writing legal memoranda, answering legal consultations and developing curriculums, projects and focal groups. I conducted seminars on sexual harassment and ethical conduct for court administration staff.
Associate Attorney at Roberto Sueiro Law Offices in San Juan, 2001 – 2003
As an associate for this Law Firm I provided legal representation in Tort and Intellectual Property Cases, prepared pleadings, discovery and dispositive motions for Puerto Rico’s state and federal district courts. I also prepared position statements and memoranda of law and fact. I also researched and wrote memoranda on tort and intellectual property law issue and prepared petitions for the Copyright Office in Washington D.C.
