I've been a licensed attorney for 15 years and I started out in a courtroom with a stack of files and dozens of public defender clients. Over the years, I have represented a wide range of clients, including for example: people who have suffered minor to catastrophic injuries (including securing six and seven-figure resolutions), or physical or sexual abuse; property owners battling developers and vice-versa; people charged with crimes or facing divorce and custody issues; wrongfully terminated employees; businesses and business owners; homeowner associations; and many others. I've tried at least 2 dozen cases, scores of administrative hearings, and several appeals to higher courts. I have always done my own research both with legal books and treatises as well as online. Also, for 2.5 years, I hosted a live call-in legal Q&A radio show on a major station in Seattle where I answered caller legal questions and discussed law-related news topics. I had to think quickly, prepare my own topics, and answer questions on the fly. I had a blast doing the show and it gave me a chance to have some fun while helping and educating my listeners.
