I am an accomplished teacher who has served nine years teaching full day kindergarten, fourteen years teaching all curriculum using multi-developmental methodology to fourth, fifth and sixth grade students.

Over the last twenty six years I have provided each of my students with a differentiated standards-based education. I have created theme units that have incorporated all curriculum areas while systematically and authentically assessing student work and continually reflecting and improving my practice. I mentor student-teachers throughout the year and serve as lead-teacher/mentor to numerous first year teachers. I am a graduate level assistant professor and teach models of instruction at a local university. I am also a free-lanse instructor offering professional development in several districts and at my building. I positively influence families making frequent home visits, having numerous classroom science fairs and authors' teas celebrating students’ published works.
