Experience & Qualifications

I have a BA in writing from New School University in NY where I studied poetry, literature, and non-fiction. I was chosen to be a teacher's assistant, tutoring introductory poetry students. I interned at Publishers Weekly and Tin House magazines. This resulted in a steady freelance position reviewing for the former publication. I've also published reviews in Contemporary Poetry Review and Pleiades. I started the MFA program at Sarah-Lawrence College last fall, but I am currently looking to transfer. I've been working on several freelance projects over the past year, including content writing for Demand Studios and generating vocabulary questions for a practice SAT II test.
