My Expert Service

A published author and editor of over 16 years offering freelance editorial services. Services include, but are not limited to: proofreading,copyediting, structural and stylistic editing, and rewriting.
Fees are charged per manuscript/project. All fees are negotiable and vary greatly, depending upon the length, content and work required. For a 3-page document, I can forward the completed work within 4 hours after acceptance. I always include as many revisions as necessary, as well as typed revisions for easier reading ... I believe in delivering only 100% to my clients.

Experience & Qualifications

Published author and editor for over 16 years. I have studied at the Institute of Children's Literature in Connecticut. I am a current member of SCBWI and CANSCAIP, and I also hold voting member status in the EAC. I was also a self-contracting literary agent with a well-established literary agency in Ohio (I specialized in children's literature & media representation).
Above average use and knowledge of the english language and the written word. Extensive background with manuscript evaluations, rewriting, stylistic/structural editing, copyediting, proofreading, and technical editing.
I have extensive experience with many different genres: adult fiction/nonfiction, children's literature (all subjects), self-help, textbooks, poetry, technical/software manuals & brochures, web content, dissertations, newsletters, magazine articles, and even screenplays.
