With 15 years of experience in professional counseling, and over 11 years of teaching experience with all age groups, I have a wealth of professional and life experience on which to draw. I work with families and individuals in a multitude of areas including: parenting, including teen issues, ADHD coaching (kids, teens, adults and entire families), couples, life/career changes, depression, anxiety, bipolar, grief & loss, educational issues, LGBT issues, gifted kids/families, addictions, 12-step & spirituality issues, amongst others.

15 years in Clinical Practice in Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic - Mental Health & Substance Abuse; 7 years experience at a Salvation Army Harbor Light Rehab Center; 2 years teaching in local community colleges; 10 years teaching in Adult Education (Remedial & GED Prep) for Detroit Public Schools; teaching & coaching high school students through a local Upward Bound program; private counseling, tutoring, coaching, mentoring.
