As a returning adult student, I combined taking courses with juggling full time work and full time parenting. If it had not been for technology and the patience of many wonderful instructors, I would not have been able to complete my undergraduate and graduate degrees. To “pay-it-forward”, I am committed to providing the same level of support to each of the learners in my traditional and "virtual" classrooms.
I combine my twenty plus years experience in technology with my fifteen plus years as a college instructor and I am able to do just that, “pay it forward”! As an instructor in all classroom settings, I pride myself in doing my best to understand each of my students’ learning needs and to modify my teaching methods to accommodate their needs.
In addition to the credit bearing courses I teach at the college level , I teach staff development courses in technology to state employees. I apply my same teaching principles and ideals in this setting.
