Lizzard was a name chosen for me by a dear friend. It represents fond images of my youth; spending time admiring the frail green bodies of these tiny creatures, survive amongst the large trees and animals. Childhood is a time of naivety and innocence, but most importantly, a time of clarity. As a woman I have learned why the clarity of a young mind can make sense of many things around them without much knowledge of why and how. I have sought a reconnection to this creature, and I have found this through the Tarot.
As we become older our sense of clarity is clouded by knowledge, which can become deceiving, especially for us women, as it becomes a hindrance when using our intuition. In my youth I found myself as small and frail as the little lizards did. While living in the capital of the world (New York City) I experienced many of life's twists and turns, and have dedicated myself to sharing my life experience with anyone that can benefit from my successes and failures. I have read tarot to many personal local clients since I was a 12 years old, inspired by my mother who knew I had a uniquely open mind for this practice. It is an ever-changing process, where certain personal beliefs have been acquired and strengthened through the Tarot. I have spent years in other parts of this country, and have learned that guidance can be found in the oddest places, when exploring a simple little animal in the forest or standing on a busy street corner, and with our intuition, this is where we can begin to educate our minds into learning more than just facts and lessons.
I use the Tarot as a tool for reflecting on guidance and the expansion of one's own intuitive thinking. The Tarot is not a means to and end, instead it is a vision of the paths that lay ahead of you, for I believe we are all free to decide how we wish to proceed with our lives. I believe that skepticism is a learned reaction to reject what is taught as not worthy of belief and essentially a hindrance to one's own intuition. I offer advice to everyone who sees this page and seeks guidance through the tarot. Free your mind of all negative and positive aspects of Tarot before you proceed, begin as if with the mind of a child, or a 'Fool'.
I currently use various Tarot decks. Please notify me if you have a preference, but I do have a sacred purpose for the decks listed below:
Sacred Rose: This deck is used specifically for life encompassing spreads, and to shed light to pros and cons of a situation. Can be used for all readings.
Enchanted Tarot: This deck is used specifically for relationship and job related guidance, This deck holds a special place in my heart for this was my first deck received as a gift and which began my journey into the Tarot.
I will be more than happy to help you along your journey, there's more to Tarot than just the cards. Remember, whoever you chose, keep an open, free and clear mind, and remember there are no certainties until you have made your own decisions.
