After years of researching the majority of traditionally recognized religions, as well as religions and religious practices/beliefs of our collective past, And as a student in the study of the majority of the schools of psychology and philosophy, I mull over the question, ”Does One True Soul Mate”, in fact exist? Is the quest to find, “The One,” our salvation? Or our individual/spiritual demise. Are we all simply seeking the “Magical Other?” That one person, if we could only find them, who will make every part of what is amiss in our lives/selves/realities, right? Are we seeking another to “Put right what we our selves are incapable or powerless to repair? Conversely, has the Creator in fact, split us? Is it a function of our destiny/aspiration here on earth, to seek out our “Other Self?”
