I happen to have a very extensive knowledge of how credit works in the United States. I gained this knowledge through personal experience, as a privacy advocate I refuse to provide my SSN to private entities, this prompted me with a challenge when I first started building credit. To date, I have received cell phone service, utitlities, and numerous credit cards without providing the SSN -- I've been able to do this because I understand how the consumer reporting agencies work internally. If you are just beginning to build your credit and you have questions about what to do to get started -- with or without providing an SSN -- I can answer any questions you may have, as well as how to keep your established credit outstanding.

My experience in this field stems from the problem I had first establishing credit without providing a SSN, which is not required to obtain, establish, or check the credit worthiness of anyone.
