I carry out in-house hitech workshops on industrial metallurgy i.e. all metallic materials, ferrous allous like cast irons, alloyed irons, all types of steels, special steels, superalloys, non ferrous alloys, new materials like composites (MMCs, PMCs and CMCs). Also on Advanced Surface Engg. i.e. plasma ion nitriding, other ionic or vacuum based surface treatments, duplex treatments, testing and characterisation.

Experience & Qualifications
|

Out of 36 years in industry, roughly half I have spent in welding/fabrication applications of thermal plasma processing i.e. plasma welding, plasma cutting, plasma cladding and plasma spraying. However the other half I have spent on industrial development of equipment and applications of plasma (ion) nitriding and allied processes like PVD, Duplex treatments, vacuum processing etc.
