I am a graduate of the Harrington College of Design, and I have more than 2O years' experience in decorating & in helping people create the looks they want. Styles may change, but the principles of good design remain.
Sometimes, it takes nothing more than a fresh coat of paint to change a room from bland to beautiful. Sometimes, it takes more. Either way, before you do anything else, the first step is to have a well-developed plan. People who jump right in without a clear idea of where they're going seldom like where they end up.
