I have worked as a staff reporter for the Miami Herald, the Baltimore Evening Sun, The Wall Street Journal and National Public Radio. With each organization, I reported and wrote news stories, feature stories and business stories. I can write any style for any publication and show you how to do the same.
I have won journalism awards. I was part of a reporting team at The Wall Street Journal that was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. I am an honors graduate of a news writing course at The Poynter Institute for Media Studies in St. Petersburg, Fla. I have been a guest speaker for journalism classes at the University of Miami and St. Louis University (via teleconferencing).
I started my successful freelance writing career about 12 years ago. Since then, my clients have included magazines, newsletters and websites. Clients have included Hispanic Business Magazine, Corporate & Incentive Travel Magazine, Latin Trade Magazine, iconoculture.com (a marketing consultancy) and the HR Specialist, a newsletter targeting the human resources industry.
