Hi my name is Marline, I am a Marriage and Family Therapist,same as a professional counselor, clinician, or even psychotherapist. Soy Latina y hablo Español!I am Bilingual & Bicultural and Culturally sensitive, in addition to,Gay and Lesbian friendly.
The clients that I work with come from all walks of life. So it is important for me that you, as a perspective client, understand that I am here to help you find your balance and your inner peace. I've learned that no matter what people are going through in their lives sometimes they lose themselves along the way. This includes, sadness, feelings of depression, isolation, loss of a job, bereavement, loss of a friendship, divorce, seperation, feelings of betrayal, anger, past and accumulative anger, finding forgivess for oneself or for others, seeking spiritual bonding, rebalancing one's life upto seeking theright career, and so much more. All these challenges can have a barrier on your health upto the point of feeling illnesses, fatigued afecting you in your daily life.
I believe by opening up doors by one expanding their mind to see life with a seperate pairs of lens eyes)will find that they will receive different results in their life. Results that they have been seeking.

Within the last 10 years, the following information is my experience in the psychotherapy field:
Developed a cost effective sister to sister program for women entailing group therapy, individual therapy, case management and community involvement.
Provided in home therapy for a diverse a diverse clientele which included therapetic services for couples, adolescents, individuals and families relating to school, family issues, substance abuse, domestic violence and sexual abuse.

I worked with provider (hospitals, doctors nurses), Correctional department, Department and Children of Families, school systems in effort to support both the child and the parent.
I also worked with a children's hospital in conjuction with the City of hartford Daycare and a third party agency and developed and worked with the fllowing population:
Worked with mothers through their recovery by providing counseling, tools to develop a maternal relationship with their newborn in providing them parenting tools from an empathic care model
My physical work entailed participating at the hospitals, rehabilitation centers, client's homes, children's schools, and in office sessions.
