The title of mt Ph.D. thesis is "On some algebraic methods for coding theory".
I have been working on coding theory and cryptography since 1999, when I started an industrial collaboration within my doctoral studies.
I am currently a Senior Research Fellow with the Boole Centre for Research in Informatics, UCC Cork (Ireland) and I am also part-time lecturer for: Dept. of Math., UCC-Cork (Ring and Field Theory), Dept. of Math and Appl., Univ. of MIlan-Bicocca (Coding Theory and Cryptography,), Dept. of Math., Univ. of Milan (Coding Theory), Dept. of Math., Univ. of Pisa (Coding Theory).
I have supervised several post-grads, organizing internships with companies when appropriate.
I am the author of 6 published papers in the field and I am writing many others, mostly in cooperation with my students (at present, 2 Ph.D. students and three Master's students).
This June, I was one of the Senior Mentors selected at the international level for http://www.nd.edu/%7Ecam/ima/,
held in Notre Dame, IN.
