My Expert Service

I have been a child and family therapist for many years. I try to help couples achieve a healthy joyful sexuality within their relationshihp.

Male survivors of sexual abuse are a sub specialty. Male survivors have special issues in relationships. I have great compassion for male survivors.

I enjoy serving couples struggling with fertility issues. "Will I Ever Be a Mother?" details my struggles and final success to have a baby.

I help people with long term chronic pain to cope, often using hypnosis.

Experience & Qualifications

I have been in private practice doing marriage and family counseling since my graduation in 1993. I have worked as a family preservation therapist for many years.

I have specialized in helping male survivors of sexual abuse. They have unique relationship issues. Few therapists really know how to serve them. My thesis was on sexual abuse and physical health. I serve as an expert witness in sexual abuse cases. My article "The Myth of Epidemic False Allegations of Sexual Abuse in Divorce Cases" was published in Court Review, the Journal of the American Judges Association, in 1998.

I have studied the psychological aspects of pain for 20 years and have had my own pain clinic. Pain has a very negative impact on most marriages.

I have counseled couples struggling with fertility issues.
