i have been an ameture gardener all my life and involved as a proffesional plantsman for 25 years. i have run my own propogation nursery on my farm in TN for years. i raise rare and unusual plants and old-fashioned roses. i have an extensive 19th c. garden, originally planted by my great-great-great-grandmother, which i am restoring.i have designed many gardens for private clients and have a far-ranging knowlege of plants,both common and rare.
