My Name is Michael Hubbard. I am currently 19 years old and studying a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Information Systems, at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
I began designing websites when I was 13 and currently own a small web development company. I tought myself and keep up with current trends in the industry. I like to comply with HTML standards and thus all my websites are designed to comply with the World Wide Web Consortium's HTML standards.
Additionally to pure webdesign I am also a PHP and MySQL developer, using these to create database-driven web applications and dynamic content.
Some examples of things I have done in the past or am working on at the moment: my own blogging framework (published as open-source on Sourceforge), shopping cart, job recruitment portal, photo upload and management for before/after shots of products, CV upload and submit.
Being completely self-taught I understand the concepts behind how PHP and MySQL work and with a very logical mind am sure I can help you with your problems.
