I have eight years of experience under my belt--I do individual web design and IT consulting for small to medium size corporate computing environments and networking...including but not limited to: providing end user support, consulting, hardware, software, and network troubleshooting both in office and remotely, web design, and implementing new technologies best suited to the needs, demands, and future perceived infrastructure of the company as well as implementation of various mobile devices and wireless technologies (ie. blackberries, video conferencing, and voip). In addition most of my experience is in managing mixed operating system environments with constantly changing needs and directions (primarily linux, novell, and windows server environments) which require me to research and assess projected server and networking needs, suggesting technology to provide successful operation while maintaining budgets. Microsoft exchange server setup, administration, and troubleshooting preclude my list of various other duties on an average basis as well as active directory/domain controller & DNS/DHCP manipulation/configuration, ftp server setup and maintenence, cisco firewall/router and security hardware/software setup/implementation, raid/SAN array setup, backup and data integrity management, as well as physical inventory management and both mysql and mssql database setup. Extensive experience in IIS, apache, mysql, sql server implementation, troubleshooting, and administration. Lastly, physical network wiring and network printer installations and support round out my foundation of experience.
