As a champion for Women and Small Business Owners here in Ohio, I am currently serving on Ohio’s Department of Developments Round Table for Small Businesses for my third year, I thrive in the business diversity environment and witness firsthand the complex barriers and business issues facing small business owners today. Prior to my experience as the Vice President of Operations of an International Information Technology company with offices here in the US as well as abroad, I worked on various projects in the legal, government, private, and non-profit sector where I honed my skills for business consulting by working with people from various socio-economic strata and a multitude of life experiences and education levels.
As Vice President of an Information Technology Small Business, I administered and developed contracts for various city and state agencies, maintained the corporate records, built valuable relationships with key stakeholders in many government agencies and private organizations, increased revenues , realized a substantial cost savings in legal fees by working with outside supervising counsel, lead an international team while effectively forging relationships with foreign nationals by displaying cultural sensitivity and psychological openness, displayed the unusual capacity to be extremely detail-oriented while also being a conceptual thinker who can be strategic and offer out-of-the-box, innovative solutions.
