Experience & Qualifications

Michelle is practicing in NJ as a Nationally Certified Counselor. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Eastern University in 2000. She then went on immediately to pursue her Masters degree in community clinical counseling from Eastern and graduated in 2003. During her time in school she worked in a medical day care center, where she worked with clients of all ages and a large range of mental disorders. During her internship in graduate school she conducted individual therapy with couples, young and older adults. After graduating, she spent a number of years working in the school systems with children and families. During this time, she provided resources, training and counseling to children, teens, young adults, parents, couples and family units. Her work consisted of anger management, behavioral issues, self esteem, depression, anxiety, social skills, ADD and ADHD, separation and divorce, grief and loss, communication skills, parenting skills (parenting classes), and relationship skills.
