As an online tutor for about 4 years now, I have been providing quality tutoring in social work, psychology, career services and social studies. Currently I work for Chicago Public Schools helping students learn English, but the subjects can be varied. I have assisted them in social studies projects and beyond.
I will assist in introductory, developmental, abnormal, personality classes in psychology. I will assist in gender, ethnicity, research, clinical classes in social work. I will assist in other areas of social work and psychology limitedly upon request. Also I can help in reading, math, writing and Spanish from the elementary to beginning high school levels. PLEASE NOTE: My personal tutoring philosophy is to HELP only with homework and papers. I will not under any circumstances do the homework or paper for you. The best way to learn is to the majority of the work yourself with guidance from a tutor!

Experience & Qualifications

I studied social work at Loyola University. I have experience in assisting children overcome obstacles in clinical community setting as well as a therapeutic day school setting. I have also tutored online and in person for the past four years.
I have also a minor in Spanish. I will be willing to assist with Spanish homework as well and lead you to full translations of homework and/or texts.
