My Expert Service
Compassionate help for couples. No favoritism for one spouse over the other. Over 70% of the couples seen in my private practice are working through recovery from affairs. After working successfully with married and non-married couples to recover from affairs my message to couples and individuals is that there is hope and emotional sanity after an affair. Some couples are in a healthy place and want to remain strong, others want to tone up in weak areas of communication and improve the overall quality of life in their marriage. Sometimes therapy supports a healthier marriage. However, in the event of a decision to end a marriage or relationship, healthy individuals often use therapy to support a healthy divorce. If you are committed and serious about working in therapy, I offer to you my professional services and support in your efforts to grow.

Experience & Qualifications
I am a full time psychotherapist in private practice, producing about 1,000 hours of clinical work per year. My counseling services have successfully helped clients recover from common mental health and relationship issues such as addictions (drugs, alcohol, sex), depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, sexual trauma, couples recovery from affairs and spirituality issues. My professional mental health counseling experience has taken place in hospitals, outpatient clinics, in public and private industry, in church settings and in secular settings. Early in my career I spent five years working as a group therapist for adult male sex offenders. Over the last 7 years the scope of my practice has been about 65% adult women, 25% couples and the remainder has been work with families and small groups and with private industry as a professional consultant. Fall & Spring semester of every year since 2002 I am a consultant to Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. There I work with pastoral interns and mentor pastors, educating them on mental health issues and providing personal growth groups on campus.
