Although she seems very nice, she was completely off base on the whole situation. He is not my daughter's father, and in fact, as only met him three times, and for the first time last year. He has never been abusive (emotionally or otherwise) to me. I am not leary about rekindling anything with him as I am very much wanting a relationship with him, but neither of us were ready and the timing was obviously off. He and I only dated for a brief period of time (about 21 years ago) and became good friends again last year (he and I both had previous marriages and relationships which produced children)He is an old family friend. I really do not know what kind of connection she had, but it wasnt with me. Totally opposite of other readings from this site and completely inaccurate. The one thing that was slighting interesting was that my daughter did feel a strong connection to him (she is 21 years old and he and I dated 21 years ago) but she is not his child.
